Rosh Chodesh is All About Alignment
We are lining up with God’s timing so that we can fully experience God’s anointing. Next Sunday (April 6) we will celebrate Rosh Chodesh here at Prince of Peace. Rosh Chodesh is a… Day of new beginnings in a year of new beginnings! Day of Rest, Worship, Feasting, Seeking Revelation, New Garments and Freedom in Christ Jesus. It is also a time…For Special Offerings—First Fruits.
Giving brings us into God’s alignment. I preached on alignment yesterday (March 30). You can listen to the sermon by going to www.pophop.org. Giving is an act of faith, obedience and honor which declares our “state of alignment.” Here is an example! Tithing, which is a tenth of our produce, aligns us with local ministry. We come into alignment wit the anointing of those who lead us. Abram came into alignment with Melchizedek by honoring him with the tithe. Jacob came into covenant alignment with God by tithing. The people came into alignment with the anointing of the God by tithing to the Levites. But next Sunday we will give a First Fruits offering. I will share more next Sunday, but the first fruits is given before the harvest as a faith gift. It is not given to the local leadership (Levites) but only to the High Priest. Who is the High Priest? Let’s read Hebrews 3:1-3
Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. 3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.
The first fruit gifts are sown apostolically. I have prayed, studied and checked with several books and persons—Robert Heidler, Chuck Pierce, Robert Henderson—to name a few and all are in agreement. The first fruits offering was placed at feet of the High Priest (Apostle) and the blessing of that alignment flows down iunto the life of the body. My wife Kay and I have personally experienced this blessing as we have sowed our First Fruits into our apostoilc alignment – Chuck Pierce and Glory of Zion.Ths coming Sunday, you will have opportunity to sow a First Fruits offering apostocially as we celebrate the head of the new month (Nisan). Our First Fruits gifts will go to the Texas Apostolic Prayer Netwotrk which I oversee apostolically. Prepare for Rosh Chodesh. What would the Lord place on your heart to give above and beyond your tithe? Get ready to receive a blessing!Tomorrow about this time things are going to change!
