This Week

Don’t forget that we will gather on Friday night at 7 for our First Fruits Friday. In this month of Iyar we ask the Lord to release the anointing that was on the Tribe of Issachar. “Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command” (1 Chronicles 12:32). This is the month of revelation and understanding that comes from Holy Spirit. Embrace Him.

My schedule has changed dramatically. I’ve shared with you that it is extremely important that we listen to the Lord and follow His directions during this season. It happened to me.

On the way home from Austin last week, I was asked to help with Tarrant County’s National Day of Prayer. I prayed about it and asked the Lord for direction. His answer caught me off guard. He answered, “Why are you going to New York City next week?” The Lord spoke to me very clearly that New York City (even though I would be going with Cindy Jacobs) was my not my assignment in this moment, but that I needed to be in Austin in order to secure the measuring rod for the state and nation. He will not release me from my Thursday assignments in the Capital. This cost me since I had to cancel flights. I had to also turn down the Tarrant County National Day of prayer offer. Therefore I will not be in New York City this week.

On Saturday, after Friday night worship, we will travel to Victoria via San Antonio (visit my parents) where I’ll minister Sunday morning. On Sunday evening we will travel to and minister in Dickinson. This is where I grew up (from 4th grade through college) and received my call to ministry. We will be home on Monday.

Blessings to you
